“Cross-Training”TUs Allowed for Re-Certification:
The Colorado Water and Wastewater Facility Operators Certification Board has changed the regulation for training unit credits for certification renewal to allow “cross-training.” For example, to renew a water certification, 50% of TUs must be in the water core,the other 50% can be in any other discipline or supplemental. Therefore, we encourage you to consider cross-training opportunities at our school.

Take I-25 South, exit on 104th Street and turn right. Proceed on 104th until you get to US 36 West and go towards Boulder. A block of hotel rooms has been reserved at the Omni Interlocken Resort. The reservation information is listed below. These rooms will only be held until February 20, 2009. Please contact the hotel directly and make your own reservation, mentioning the March Water & Wastewater Intermediate and Advanced conference name to ensure the conference rate of $103 per night.

Registration and Fees
You are encouraged to pre-register for the school by completing the registration form and mailing, faxing or submitting the form on-line by March 8, 2009. Checks should be made payable to the “University of Colorado”.
Registration fees must be paid prior to or at on-site registration. The University of Colorado does not accept purchase orders of any kind. If we have no record of payment at on-site registration on March 23, we will require payment at that time. We cannot bill for registration fees.
Advance registration fee of $400 is available until March 8, 2009. After this date an additional late fee of $50 will apply and registration will only be available at the Omni Hotel on March 23, 2009. The fee includes instructional and administrative costs, course notebook, and refreshments. It does not include lodging and meals. Registration fees may be paid by either the individual participant or the employer.

Registration for all courses will be held at the Omni Interlocken Resort, 500 Interlocken Boulevard, Broomfield, CO. Registration will take place on Monday, March 23, 2009 from 7am - 8am, with the first sessions beginning promptly at 8am. All classes begin at 8am, Monday through Friday. Classes end at 5pm, Monday through Thursday. Class will end at 3pm on Friday, March 27 to give you time to prepare for the certification test Friday evening and Saturday.
Cancellation Policy:
You must send a written notice of cancellation by fax at 303-492-5959 or email: confreg@colorado.edu. Please include the name of the conference, the participant name, and the reason for not attending. A cancellation fee of $75 is charged if registration is cancelled after March 8, 2009.
